Virtual Consultation: How to Start

To get a virtual consultation on Symliphy, you select your condition and state, fill out a health questionnaire, and if you qualify, a healthcare provider will review your case and send a prescription to your pharmacy.

Step 2: Complete Treatment Protocol

1.
Create an account or log into your existing account.
2.
For Pediatric Conditions - Parents, you can add your child as a family member in My Account and book consultations on their behalf.
3.
Complete the online healthcare questionnaire.
4.
If the healthcare questionnaire determines that you do not qualify for virtual care, the Symliphy platform will inform you as such and recommend another treatment path (Live Consultation, etc). You will not be charged for that virtual consultation.
5.
Choose your preferred pharmacy.
6.
Pay for consultation.
7.
The healthcare questionnaire is sent to a licensed healthcare provider in your state for review.
8.
A receipt for the consultation will be sent to the email address in your Symliphy profile.
9.
A healthcare provider creates a treatment plan that may include prescription medication.
10.
In some cases, your healthcare provider may need to obtain more information from you about your case. If so, they will contact you directly via phone or video conference. Please be on the look out for any calls from unknown phone numbers.

Step 3: Prescription sent to Pharmacy

1.
The healthcare provider electronically sends your prescription to your preferred pharmacy.
2.
Your preferred pharmacy fills the prescription.
3.
Pay for your prescription using your insurance or the Symliphy cash discount card.
4.
Pick up the prescription or have it delivered (if applicable) from your preferred pharmacy.
5.

Live Consultation: How to Start

To complete a live consultation on Symliphy, you select your condition and state, complete a health questionnaire, and after paying, a healthcare provider will contact you directly by phone or video to create a treatment plan and send a prescription to your pharmacy.

Weight Loss Program: How to Start

For Symliphy's weight loss program, new patients complete a health questionnaire, consult with a provider who orders a lab test, and then receive their medication by mail; existing patients complete a monthly check-in and get their medication shipped to them after a provider review.

Step 1: Complete Treatment Protocol

1.
Pick your state and click on the New or Existing Weight Loss Patient Consultation button.
2.
Complete the Treatment Protocol – a simple self guided healthcare questionnaire.
3.
At the end of the healthcare questionnaire, if you qualify for treatment, you will be asked to pay for your treatment plan. This payment includes the healthcare provider consultation with lab order (if applicable), weight loss medication, shipping and handling of the medication to your home.

Step 2: Healthcare Provider Consultation (New Patients)

For NEW Symliphy Weight Loss Patients Only (Existing Patients Skip This Section)

1.
Your healthcare provider will review your healthcare questionnaire and reach out to you directly via phone, text, and/or email to complete a "live" consultation either by telephone or Zoom link.
2.
Upon completion of your consultation, your healthcare provider will electronically prescribe medication, if applicable (as described in Step 3 - Receive Weight Loss Treatment).
3.
Immediately upon the completion of your healthcare provider's review of your case, a lab order will be sent to Quest Diagnostics. The lab order and subsequent lab test is to ensure the Weight Loss treatment is safe for you. The lab test will screen for liver, kidney, and thyroid function.
4.
Go to your local Quest Diagnostics location to complete the test. You MUST complete the lab test prior to receiving treatment beyond the first month.
5.
Once Quest completes the lab testing the results will be returned to your healthcare provider within the Symliphy system electronically. No action needs to be taken by you.

Step 3: Healthcare Provider Consultation (Existing Patients)

For EXISTING Symliphy Weight Loss Patients Only

1.
Your healthcare provider will review your latest healthcare questionnaire and determine if adjustments are needed to your treatment plan.
2.
If so, they will reach out to you directly via phone, text, and/or email to complete a "live" consultation either by telephone or Zoom link.
3.
If no adjustments are needed, they will electronically prescribe additional medication (as described in Step 4 - Receive Weight Loss Treatment).

Step 4: Receive Weight Loss Treatment

1.
Your healthcare provider will electronically prescribe the appropriate weight loss medication to our partner compounding pharmacy.
2.
The medication will be shipped directly to your home address and arrive within 5-7 days.
3.
Take the prescribed medication as directed by your healthcare provider and Start Losing Weight!
4.
To continue your Symliphy weight loss journey, please return to Symliphy monthly and choose the Existing Weight Loss Patient Consultation button.
5.
Complete: Step 1 – Complete Treatment Protocol, Step 2 – Healthcare Provider Consultation, and Step 3 – Receive Weight Loss Treatment.
6.
A monthly healthcare provider consultation is required to continue your treatment plan. We recommend completing this step 7 days before you need additional medication to avoid gaps in treatment.
