When to Seek In-Person Care
Some skin concerns need an examination, a test or a procedure.
- Book an in-person visit for a new or changing mole, a bleeding spot or a sore that does not heal.
- Mole or skin tag removal, biopsies, skin cancer checks and cosmetic procedures require in-person care. Symliphy does not perform these procedures online.
- Seek prompt care for a painful or rapidly spreading rash, fever, pus, or a rash involving your eyes, mouth or genitals.
- Get emergency care for trouble breathing or swallowing, or swelling of your lips or eyes. Call 911 for a suspected emergency.
Do not wait for an online response if symptoms are severe. Your provider may also recommend an in-person visit after reviewing your photos.
